The 3” RR type manual reset relief valve is API 6A PR2 qualified overpressure protection equipment for mud pump discharge lines and drilling manifolds. It replaces traditional shear-pin relief valves, enabling manual reset without mud pump shutdown. Available in pressure ratings from 1500–10000 PSI with multiple connection options including Fig 1502 hammer union, API 6B flange and butt weld. Suitable for onshore & offshore drilling, cementing, fracturing and industrial pipeline applications, with sour service option complying with NACE MR-0175 / ISO 15156. Commonly supplied alongside mud gate valves on mud pump suction and discharge lines.
