Operational Profile of Mature Flatland Production Pads
The photo shows a FUZER API 6A Christmas tree configuration for mature flatland onshore production: master and wing slab gate valves, adjustable choke, gauge assembly, and a flanged production flowline. Set against a backdrop of flare stacks and high-mast lighting, this scene highlights continuous production and daily walk-around inspection by crews.
Flatland onshore fields usually have good road access and open pad layouts. The main operational demand is long-term continuous high-pressure production with stable sealing, easy technician access, and standardized maintenance across multi-well pads.

- Pad-Wide Standardization & Retrofit Strategy
- Instead of treating every well as a one-off design, FUZER pushes “pad standardization” for mature flatland fields:
- Base tree: 5K psi, 3-1/16″, Material DD, PR1, PSL2
- Sour slot: upgrade to EE/FF + NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156
- High-pressure slot: 10K–15K psi, PSL3
- Water-injection slot: simplified tree, no production choke
All slab gate valves are selected for positive isolation, metal-to-metal sealing, and repeated manual operation under sustained wellhead pressure. The Christmas tree follows API Spec 6A; choke-and-kill manifolds follow API 16C where the pad shares a centralized well-control system.
- Operational Advantages for Field Crews
- Faster swab / wireline rig-up
- Fewer wrong-part installations during night shift
- One torque procedure for all pad trees
- Lower inventory: gauges, seals, gate inserts
- Easier third-party inspection (SGS / BV / DNV)
Manufacturing & Quality Verification
ISO 9001 + API Q1 process, MTR, NDT per PSL, hydrostatic shell and seat test, API 6A data pack. Third-party inspection supported.
